Responsibilities

Develop innovative medical solutions and technologies to improve patient care and health outcomes.

Design and create medical device software and hardware components.

Integrate medical device software and hardware components into a cohesive system.

Test and validate medical device software and hardware components for performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Work closely with a team of other biomedical engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Maintain detailed records of medical device development tests and results.

Communicate effectively with other stakeholders, such as physicians and healthcare professionals.

Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during the development process.

Identify and implement improvements to existing medical devices.

Monitor industry trends and developments in biomedical engineering and relay information to colleagues.
