Customer Service Logistics

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics / Customer Service Specialist in Plymouth, MI. In-office 5 days – M-F 8:30am – 5:00pm. The Specialist will coordinate the transportation of customer freight with accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional service.

You will be the main point of contact for customers and car haulers, ensuring loads are planned, assigned, and delivered efficiently while supporting company profitability. 55K – 65K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage freight loads in a cost‑effective and timely manner
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and drivers throughout the dispatch process
• Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with internal and external partners
• Monitor active orders to ensure accurate pickup and delivery
• Troubleshoot service issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Strong communication and listening skills
• Excellent customer service and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to build positive relationships with drivers and customers
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation
• Ability to learn company‑specific systems
• College degree and/or 1+ year of logistics experience (trucking preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations a plus
• E‑log experience preferred
