Senior AI Engineer (Python)

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer (Python) to join our team in Doha, Qatar, in an onsite working mode.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-driven software engineering, building scalable, production-ready AI solutions and transforming development processes to an AI spec-driven model. You will design and implement architectures for high-performance AI systems, optimize operational efficiency, and contribute to building and hardening agentic workflows.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams to enhance standards, security, and reliability while driving innovation across AI-enabled development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy token-efficient AI search and retrieval architectures optimized for relevance and latency Define, evolve and operationalize AI specifications and templates for feature, architecture, code, test and deployment automation Develop metrics and tools to measure AI-driven development efficiency, quality and accuracy Build and productionize end-to-end pipelines including embeddings, vector stores, retrieval frameworks, prompt engineering and LLM integrations Create and strengthen agentic systems to orchestrate multi-step agent behaviors for engineering workflows Implement operational reliability and observability frameworks including monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, version management and reproducible deployments Coach and mentor engineering and product teams, review designs and elevate AI engineering practices Establish security guardrails, input/output validation and safety mechanisms for robust AI solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field 4+ years of experience building production-grade AI systems or 2+ years focusing on LLM/RAG solutions Proven experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, embeddings and vector databases Experience integrating with commercial and self-hosted LLM models Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks such as Lang
• Chain or equivalent Strong backend engineering skills with Python as primary language and intermediate Java proficiency Experience with REST/gRPC APIs, containerized deployments and Kubernetes orchestration Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes applied to models, prompts and testing for AI-driven workflows Understanding of embeddings, semantic search and large-scale vector indexing Awareness of AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, GitLab Duo or similar We offer
