Chief Accountant

Al Mashaan General Trading & General Contracting for Buildings Co. is seeking a Chief Accountant to join our meticulous finance team based in Rai. This full-time, on-site position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial management and reporting.

As the Chief Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and leading the financial team. You will collaborate closely with various departments to support strategic financial planning and decision-making, thus driving the company's growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Provide financial insights for management decision-making
• Stay updated on financial regulations and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field10+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on managerial roles
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
