Interior Designer | Mid-Level Experience - Education & Commercial Interiors

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to the development of innovative interior design solutions, integrating sustainable design principles into projects.
• Coordinate and develop building systems, interior construction details, finishes, and FF&E selections to support overall project objectives.
• Manage specific technical aspects of assigned projects, including research, evaluation, problem-solving, and implementation of design solutions.
• Support project managers with budgeting, staffing, scheduling, financial tracking, and project coordination activities.
• Participate in construction administration, project closeout, consultant coordination, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Approximately 6+ years of professional interior design or architectural experience.
• Strong proficiency in BIM and 3D modeling software, along with experience producing presentations and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, interior construction methods, FF&E specification processes, and project delivery best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and team leadership skills, with the ability to guide junior staff and collaborate effectively with clients and consultants.
