Your Role

As a Senior Procurement Specialist in our Advanced Manufacturing sector, you will take the lead on contracting for major construction services on mid to large-scale projects, typically ranging from $50M to $750M. You will utilize your expertise to navigate complex procurement transactions while ensuring optimal project outcomes.

In this role, your responsibilities will include

• Developing procurement strategies and leading upfront planning activities.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to subcontract technicians and associate subcontract administrators.
• Leveraging critical thinking to enhance subcontracting efficiency and effectiveness.
• Managing procurement of major construction services for larger projects, acting as the point of contact for subcontracting.
• Coordinating procurement agreements and change orders in alignment with project objectives.
• Evaluating subcontractor invoices to ensure compliance with established terms.
• Proactively identifying risks related to subcontracting and advising management on mitigation strategies.
• Preparing bidder lists, conducting bid evaluations, and facilitating negotiations with successful bidders.
• Managing change orders, resolving disputes, and supporting project completion.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the subcontracting process.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, construction, supply chain, or operations management).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in capital construction contracting, particularly on EPCM projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing or Data Center Projects is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Exceptional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• A dynamic ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with tight schedules.
• A desire to mentor and guide junior subcontract administrators.

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from $92,000 to $126,500, depending on location and experience. We offer comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and options for stock purchasing.
