Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and automation, who thrives in a hands-on environment.

You will play a key role in managing our IT operations, optimizing systems for performance and scalability, and driving efficiency across our infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Lead the migration of on-premise virtual machines to the cloud environment.
• Manage and administer both Windows and Linux servers across various environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Cloud
• Formation.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for infrastructure processes.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for configuration management and infrastructure purposes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues to maintain smooth IT operations.
• Ensure database platforms, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server, are effectively managed and maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Proven expertise in managing virtual servers and cloud-based storage systems.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including IP networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience with database platforms, such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD). Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in tools like Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Azure DevOps for automation and system management.
