POSITION OVERVIEW
The Center Caretaker & Office Hospitality Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the efficient daily operation of the center while delivering professional hospitality services to staff, clients, and visitors. The position is responsible for facility opening and closing procedures, room and event setup, hospitality services, cleanliness, security, and supporting the smooth delivery of meetings and events.
The standard working schedule is Saturday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Friday is the regular weekly day off; however, occasional on-call availability may be required for scheduled events, emergencies, or operational requirements.⸻KEY DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Facility Operations & Security* Open and close the center according to operational procedures.* Serve as the designated key holder for the facility.* Unlock and secure entrances during opening and closing.* Conduct routine inspections of lighting, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical equipment.* Report maintenance issues promptly.* Perform regular security checks throughout the facility.* Ensure the center remains safe, secure, and operational at all times.* Respond to operational requests during scheduled working hours and approved on-call periods.⸻

- Event Setup & Facility Preparation* Prepare meeting rooms and event spaces according to booking requirements.* Arrange furniture, staging, presentation materials, and room layouts.* Set up and test audiovisual equipment including projectors, microphones, displays, and extension cables.* Dismantle event setups and return equipment to designated storage areas.* Ensure all event spaces are clean and ready before and after use.⸻

- Booking & Client Support* Welcome visitors and clients professionally.* Assist management with booking coordination and room scheduling.* Confirm booking details and explain facility guidelines when required.* Provide on-site support during meetings, workshops, and events.* Coordinate with organizers regarding setup adjustments and operational requests.⸻

- Hospitality Services* Prepare and serve coffee, tea, refreshments, and beverages for meetings and events.* Maintain pantry cleanliness and organization.* Monitor inventory levels of hospitality supplies.* Submit replenishment requests when necessary.* Follow food safety and hygiene standards during beverage preparation and service.⸻

- Cleaning & Facility Maintenance* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, pantries, restrooms, and common spaces.* Clean and maintain coffee machines, refrigerators, and pantry equipment.* Monitor waste disposal and recycling procedures.* Ensure all operational areas remain organized and presentable throughout the day.⸻KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)* Consistent attendance and punctuality.* Reliable response during scheduled working hours and approved on-call assignments.* Safe and secure opening and closing of the facility.* High standards of cleanliness and organization.* Positive customer service feedback.* Accurate event setup and timely completion of assigned tasks.* Compliance with company policies, dress code, and workplace standards.⸻
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Language
Skills
- Good command of English (spoken and written) is required.
- Knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not required.* Hospitality, Facilities Management, Food & Beverage, or related vocational training is an advantage.
- Experience* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, facilities operations, office support, customer service, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills* Experience operating commercial coffee or espresso machines.* Basic audiovisual equipment setup.* Basic facility maintenance awareness.* Familiarity with Microsoft Office is an advantage.
