Lead Chef

We are looking for an experienced Lead Chef to manage kitchen operations, deliver high-quality food and lead our kitchen team. Working closely with the General Manager, you will ensure excellent customer care, food standards and strong commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality food to a consistently high standard
• Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team: manage rotas, cover, and staff development
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, hygiene and legal requirements
• Maintain strict cleaning standards and accurate kitchen records
• Support menu planning, pricing and costing to achieve profit targets
• Manage stock ordering and control to minimise waste
• Handle customer feedback professionally and positively
• Lead by example to maximise efficiency and quality

Experience and Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef in a management or leadership role (Essential)
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance
