Markel Direct has been running for 10 years and targets multiple sectors including IT, fitness, Therapists, Photographers and Charities & Community Group.

Caunce O’Hara offers specialist insurance to contractors, consultants, freelancers, self-employed professionals and to the oil & rail sectors.

We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

What you’ll be doing

Collaborate with Business Systems Admin and Business Systems Analysist to develop effective strategies and test plans

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and provide regular feedback to the team on testing progress and results

Maintain test packs

Report defects clearly and provide details to the development team

Provide regular feedback/updates to the team on testing progress

Cooperate with Developers and Analysts during the whole project lifecycle

Participate in Demo session, communicate test results to the stakeholders

Create logs to document testing phases and defects

Help troubleshoot issues

Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
