Senior QA Engineer

My client is a US based software company, operating into the media and entertainment sector, due to their ongoing success, they are looking for a Senior QA Engineer, based in the UK. This will be working on their existing solutions but mainly focusing on the development and testing of an exciting new product.

The company is around 5 years old and during that time it has successfully implemented its software in three of the UK’s major broadcasters.

They are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with 3-5 years’ experience with manual and automation testing, with knowledge of the Cypress automation tool, this will be a remote position, working into UK and European clients.

They require someone that is self-motivated, to work with minimal day to day instruction, able to identify issues throughout the product development lifecycle, with a view to reducing the number of bugs, while developing effective test plans.

You will have experience with the following

• 1+ years hands-on experience in Web and API testing
• Test automation experience with Cypress is essential with exposure to WebdriverI0, TestCafe or similar automation tools
• Complete understanding of HTTP and REST APIs
• Experience working in Jira, Confluence, Figma, Swagger

A background working with content delivery in the media, broadcast or entertainment sector, is essential, and an understanding of scheduling or windowing would be an advantage, coupled with excellent communications skills, as this is a remote role.
