The Role

As a Principal Medical Writer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality scientific content across a range of projects. You’ll develop expertise in key therapeutic areas – including Oncology – while collaborating closely with a versatile team spanning medical education, digital, creative, analytics, client services, and publications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of clear, engaging, and scientifically accurate content across diverse projects.
• Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring scientific excellence in all deliverables.
• Mentor and support junior writers, helping them grow and thrive.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues across medical, creative, digital, and client service teams.

About You

To be successful, you will bring

• 4+ years of medical writing experience within a UK-based Medical Communications agency.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality content across a variety of formats and therapy areas.
• Strong expertise in Oncology (or the desire to expand your knowledge).
• A collaborative mindset, with confidence in leading projects and contributing strategically.

Salary: GBP 36000 - 60000 per year

Experience: 5 years required
