Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day transactional finance activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Manage and mentor junior finance team members, fostering professional growth.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications or relevant certifications in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience in managing transactional finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Commitment to maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Experience within the not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
