A UK Top 50 law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ-3 PQE) to join its specialist Home Ownership Disputes Team, part of the wider Property Disputes division. This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in TOLATA and equitable property trust disputes within a supportive, ambitious and nationally recognised practice.

The Role

You'll support and manage a varied caseload of cohabitation and property trust disputes, including:

• TOLATA claims involving orders for sale, beneficial interest disputes and equitable accounting
• Advising on disputes between cohabitees, family members and friends
• Drafting cohabitation agreements
• Managing your own caseload under supervision
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex matters
• Responding to new enquiries and providing empathetic, clear client advice
• Contributing to business development, including writing articles and thought leadership pieces
• Delegating work to junior lawyers and trainees where appropriate

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a solicitor or legal executive with:

• NQ-3 years' PQE (guideline only - all levels considered)
• Some experience advising on TOLATA or property trust disputes
• Strong interest in equitable claims and cohabitation matters
• Excellent attention to detail and high quality drafting skills
• Professional integrity and commitment to exceptional client service
• Ability to work sensitively with clients in emotionally charged situations
• Confidence using case management systems and digital workflows
