Costa Store Manager - Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days)

Lead a Busy Costa Store in a Dynamic Hospital Environment

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Costa Store Manager to take the lead at our store in Alder Hey Children's Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to run a well-known brand in a fast-paced, high-footfall setting where no two days are the same.

You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, positive environment for both customers and your team, delivering consistently great coffee and service while driving the store's overall performance.

What you'll be doing

• Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Costa store
• Leading, motivating, and developing your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Ensuring smooth and efficient operations during busy service periods
• Managing stock, minimising waste, and maintaining strong cost controls
• Completing weekly admin, reporting, and operational tasks
• Acting as the key decision-maker on site, resolving issues proactively
• Maintaining a safe, compliant environment in line with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
• Driving engagement and creating a positive team culture

What we're looking for

• A passionate leader with a strong focus on customer service
• Experience managing or supervising in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
• A confident decision-maker who uses initiative and remains calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Reliable, flexible, and committed with a strong work ethic
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude and hands-on approach
