Warehouse Team Manager

Are you an experienced warehouse and logistics professional? Are you ready to take that first step into management? Or are you already leading a team and want to join one of the UK’s largest retailers?

We are currently searching for a Team Manager to join the team in our Distribution Centre in Ellesmere Port.

The Shift Pattern available is: Weekend Days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 12.5 hours per day.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will take responsibility for a team of colleagues and lead them to deliver a fast, accurate and efficient service in our warehouse. You will be reporting directly to the Shift Manager.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be given full, inhouse training on our internal systems, but you must have previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading, motivating and supporting your team to deliver high service levels
• Managing your section in terms of KPI’s
• Maintaining high standards across the Distribution Centre, especially with Health and Safety
• Conducting development reviews and providing advice to colleagues where appropriate
• Planning and managing staff training, conducting interviews and investigations where required.

• Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment
• Proven ability to build positive, professional relationships with colleagues
• A drive to achieve and exceed KPI’s
• Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills
• A “Can do” attitude, no task is too big, or too small
