Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards and excellent time management skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging with patrons to foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
• Manage bar stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Monitor guest intoxication levels responsibly, adhering to licensing laws and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods.
• Stay informed about current drink trends and new cocktail recipes to enhance the menu offerings.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender or mixologist in a busy hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to bar operations is essential.
• Strong serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during high-volume periods.
• Familiarity with restaurant or bar software systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A personable attitude with the ability to connect with diverse clientele and create an inviting atmosphere.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
