With a long history of delivering the UK’s most significant infrastructure schemes, they continue to lead the way in large-scale earthworks and civil engineering.

Blackwell Earthmoving has been working for a number of years on major projects such as HS2 (Aylesbury) and Sizewell C (Leiston, Suffolk), and with further phases now underway, they are seeking Site Engineers and Project (Section) Engineers to strengthen their teams on these landmark sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct GNSS surveys and manage accurate site data.
• Refine and implement 3D machine control models.
• Support the Foreman and delivery teams with efficient construction methods.
• Produce clear project documentation for communication and progress tracking.
• Carry out quality checks on materials and workmanship.
• Lead rolling-wave planning to keep earthworks delivery on schedule.
• Monitor costs and budgets to ensure efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and apprentices.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in earthworks or civil engineering.
• Strong academic foundation (GCSE Maths & Physics grade B or above).
• Understanding of core civil engineering principles.
• Keen to progress towards IEng and ICE membership.
• Full UK driving licence.
