Electrician Mate/Labourer – Solar PV, Battery Storage, Ventilation & ESH Installations

Zealous Electrical NW Ltd is a growing electrical and renewables contractor working on domestic and commercial projects across the UK. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Electrician’s Mate / Electrical Labourer to support our qualified electricians on solar PV, battery storage, ventilation, and electrical installation projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified electricians with the installation of Solar PV systems and battery storage
• Supporting the installation of ventilation systems and electric storage heaters
• Helping with cable runs, containment, mounting equipment, and general electrical labouring duties
• Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for site work
• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to complete installations to a high standard and within agreed timescales
• Travelling to different sites as required

Requirements

• Previous site experience as an Electrician’s Mate, Electrical Labourer, or similar role is preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical installation work and safe working practices
• CSCS or ECS card preferred, but not essential
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable with practical site-based work
• Comfortable working at height where required, with appropriate training and safety procedures in place
• Willingness to travel for work when required
