Graduate Project Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team based in our Head Office in Birkenhead, Wirral. We are looking for motivated and ambitious Engineering graduates to progress from Project Engineers, where a solid technical engineering basis will be established, through to future leaders and managers within our organisation.

Our services focus on the planning, monitoring, analysis, performance, modelling and operational aspects of water and sewer networks. We’re based in Central Birkenhead (Merseyside), easily accessible with great transport links. Positions are available for immediate start dates.

The Role

We are looking for committed and motivated graduates to join our specialist, dynamic project teams. As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will work on a wide range of consultancy projects for leading water utilities both within the UK and internationally. Additionally, you will be involved in the development and implementation of the Netbase system as it expands into global markets.

Throughout your role, you will receive support to cultivate expertise in the analysis, reporting, and management of water supply and distribution networks.

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working full time Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours a day with flexible start times available between 8am and 10am, and finish times between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.

Our Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have less than 12 months of relevant experience and hold a degree obtained in 2024 or later. Eligible degree disciplines include:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• General Engineering
• Mathematics
• Environmental related degrees

Please note that all positions require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree considered desirable.

• A full UK driving licence – there will be times when you will need to drive a manual company vehicle

Salary: GBP 28500 - 42500 per year
