Claims Handler / Supervisor / Team Leader Vacancy

We are recruiting an experienced Claims Handler, Claims Supervisor, or Claims Team Leader to join a leading UK legal and insurance claims organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience handling litigated disease claims, NIHL (Noise-Induced Hearing Loss) claims, and Military Claims who are looking to progress into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

As a Claims Handler / Supervisor / Team Leader, you will:

• Manage a caseload of litigated disease claims, NIHL claims, and Military claims.
• Supervise and support a team of Claims Handlers.
• Allocate workloads to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and client deadlines are achieved.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, mentoring, and training.
• Ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations.
• Handle client complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Drive quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Lead projects to improve claims handling processes and operational performance.
• Maintain profitability while delivering exceptional client service.

Skills & Experience Required

Successful applicants will have

• Extensive experience as a Claims Handler, Claims Supervisor, or Claims Team Leader.
• Strong knowledge of Disease Claims, Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) Claims, and Military Claims.
• Experience handling both pre-litigation and litigation claims.
• File handling authority of up to £100,000.
• Experience supervising or mentoring claims professionals.
• Knowledge of insurance claims, legal claims, and case management systems.
• Strong understanding of claims compliance, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and claims management software.
