Using our fleet of Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs), we provide safer, lower-carbon and more efficient solutions for clients operating in subsea telecoms, offshore energy, environmental monitoring and hydrography.

Role Overview

The Bids & Tenders Manager is responsible for managing the preparation and submission of high-quality bids and tenders for XOCEAN’s USV survey services across all regions and market sectors.

This role leads the coordination of bid responses from opportunity qualification through to final submission and handover, ensuring proposals are compelling, compliant and delivered to deadline. The Bids & Tenders Manager works closely with colleagues across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal and Project Delivery to present clear, competitive and customer-focused proposals.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include

• Leading the end-to-end preparation and submission of bids and tenders for XOCEAN’s survey services
• Coordinating cross-functional inputs to develop high-quality, compliant and customer-focused proposals
• Managing bid schedules, reviews and approvals to ensure submissions are delivered on time
• Supporting commercial and pricing inputs and contributing to the review of contractual and risk considerations
• Ensuring effective handover of successful bids and contributing to post-bid reviews and continuous improvement

Requirements

Essential Skills / Attributes and Experience

• Experience in a bids, tenders or proposals environment with a track record of meeting external deadlines
• Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good commercial awareness, organisational capability and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communicator with a collaborative, customer-focused and results-oriented approach

Desirable Experience

• Experience in marine survey, offshore, energy, telecoms or related sectors
• Exposure to contract tendering, pricing or commercial review
• Project coordination or delivery experience
