Software Architect – AWS / Java / Python 6‑Month Contract | UK | Security Clearance Eligible Day Rate: £400/Day InsideIR35 | Remote Working We are seeking an experienced Software Architect with deep expertise across AWS , Java , and Python to lead the design and delivery of large‑scale, enterprise-grade solutions.

This role requires someone who can confidently bridge the gap between senior stakeholders and technical teams , ensuring clear communication, strategic alignment, and successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end architectural design for complex systems built on AWS. Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance, design reviews, and governance across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and compliance standards.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, offering commercially minded insights that support business outcomes.
• Create documentation, architectural roadmaps, and technical specifications.
• Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Software Architect within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on background in AWS architecture , cloud-native services, and distributed systems.
• Expertise in Java and Python , with the ability to guide engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Commercially savvy, with strong understanding of cost optimisation and delivering value.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) – must have lived in the UK for the required period.
