We are currently looking for a QA Test Engineer for our client, a world leader in delivering advanced and intelligent IP video networking technology. This resource will contribute to several projects within the Product Development department.
Execute test plans and test cases.
Update test cases based on updated functional requirements.
Troubleshoot, and maintain test environments.
Perform application, integration and regression and system testing and provide detailed reports
Track issues in Bug Tracking database.
Automate test plans for certain aspects of the product
Test and validate stream and network protocol compliance.
Professional and Personal Requirements
Strong knowledge of audiovisual compression technologies such as MPEG-2 and MPEG-4/H.264.
Understanding of real-time Audio and Video streaming.
Good understanding of IP standards and IP video networking principles.
Experience with Client/Server applications and Linux-based servers
Language Requirements
Bilingual, with spoken English and French, fluent in written English.
Academic Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or the equivalent 3-5 years as a test engineer in industrial environment.
