Retail Sales Associate

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products related to landscaping, gardening, and horticulture
• Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
• Maintain merchandising displays and ensure products are well-organized and attractive
• Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Support e-commerce operations by assisting with online orders and inquiries
• Provide product knowledge on gardening tools, plants, and landscape maintenance supplies
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and store operations
• Uphold cleanliness and organization within the store environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
• Knowledge of landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or related fields is a plus
• Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers professionally
• Organizational skills to manage merchandise displays and stock levels efficiently
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for learning about new products and industry trends

Pay: $16.10-$20.00 per hour
