This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Tax Associate at a well established full service law firm. This lawyer will join a thriving tax department and work on sophisticated files amongst talented practitioners in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and collegial milieu.

The ideal candidates will have/be

• A member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;
• Have approximately 2-6 years of pertinent tax experience, particularly in personal and corporate tax planning, corporate matters, such as reorganizations, m & a, as well as estate and post mortem planning;
• Strong drafting, negotiating, analytical and interpersonal skills;
• Strong business acumen and be client focused;
• Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast paced work environment;
• Be bilingual (with strong English skills);
• A Master’s degree in Taxation or completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course, a strong asset.
