Talent Acquisition Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment cycle for blue-collar and white-collar positions in Canada and the US.

Collaborate closely with hiring managers and provide regular updates throughout the recruitment process.

Prepare and post job descriptions in both French and English on various recruitment platforms.

Implement attraction strategies to identify top talent for each role.

Conduct phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

Provide an excellent candidate experience by answering questions and ensuring timely follow-ups.

Perform reference and background checks.

Source candidates for complex roles and build a talent pipeline for future needs.

Represent the organization at job fairs and recruitment events.

Identify the best job boards based on recruitment needs.

Collaborate with recruitment agencies when required.

Create recruitment visuals (e.g., 'We’re hiring' images for social media).

Oversee the collection of onboarding documents.

Work with HR team members and hiring managers to continuously improve recruitment practices.
