Sales Account Manager

Experience5–7 years of enterprise sales experience in IT Systems Integration, with a strong track record of selling technology solutions to Public Sector, Energy (Oil & Gas, Utilities), and BFSI customers in Oman.

Minimum 5 years of technology business development and/or consulting sales experience, with the ability to engage directly with CXOs, senior government officials, banking executives, and decision-makers within the energy sector.

Comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies, digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity, and preferably Microsoft solutions.

Proven expertise in enterprise solution selling, strategic account management, and partner-led sales.

Experience in selling consulting services, managed services, cloud solutions, and business applications tailored to industry-specific requirements.

Strong experience in B2B, B2G, and enterprise account management with demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles.

Mandatory Qualifications & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Sales or Business Management certifications will be an added advantage.

Sales/Business certifications from at least one public cloud provider (Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition across Public Sector, Energy, and BFSI accounts within the assigned territory.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key customers and decision-makers to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Sell IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, digital workplace, data & AI, managed services, and consulting solutions.
• Drive cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives aligned with customer business objectives.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
• Collaborate with technology partners, internal pre-sales teams, and Centres of Excellence (COEs) to develop winning solutions and proposals.
• Manage the complete sales lifecycle, including opportunity qualification, solution positioning, commercial negotiations, RFPs/tenders, and deal closure.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records while ensuring achievement of assigned sales targets.
