Ongoing Opportunities - Senior Accountant or Controller

Recruitment Partners is searching for you! Are you an experienced Senior Accountant or Controller who is searching for temporary or contract-to-permanent opportunities in Calgary? We are recruiting for individuals well-versed in financial reporting who would be responsible for the following:

Your success will be defined by your ability to

• Coordinate the full cycle accounting process and assist with financial statements which may include MD&A and notes
• Maintain financial internal controls including assessment and monitoring
• Prepare monthly variances analysis, account reconciliations, consolidation, cashflow, continuities and reporting for management
• Assist with relevant budgeting and forecasting as applicable
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and with special ad hoc projects

Your strengths include

• CPA designation (or in progress) preferrable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is essential
• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with ERP implementation is considered an asset
