Summer Student Delivery Driver / Shop Helper

Park Place Manufacturing Limited is looking to fill a full-time summer student Delivery Driver / Shop Helper position.

This role is a great fit for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. The successful candidate will assist with local deliveries, shop organization, material handling, and general support around the shop during downtime.

Responsibilities include

• Driving a 1-ton cube van for local deliveries and pickups
• Loading and unloading millwork, materials, and supplies
• Assisting with shop cleanup, organization, and general labour tasks
• Helping the production team with basic shop support as needed
• Following company safety procedures while working in the shop and on deliveries

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s licence
• Must be comfortable driving a 1-ton cube van
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must provide a clean driver’s abstract
• Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to help where needed
• Forklift experience is not required, but would be considered an asset

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time, Summer Student Position

Wage: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours

Location: Calgary, AB
