DELIVERY DRIVER (Part-Time)

New Level Brewing is looking for a reliable, hard-working part-time Delivery Driver to join our team.

The primary focus of this role is delivering beer throughout Calgary and surrounding areas approximately 2 days per week, with semi-regular trips to Edmonton. This is a physically demanding delivery position that involves regularly loading, unloading, and moving cases of beer and heavy kegs.

The position is expected to average approximately 17–20 hours per week, although hours may vary depending on delivery volume and longer out-of-town routes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver beer orders throughout Calgary and surrounding areas, including semi-regular trips to Edmonton
• Load and unload cases, kegs, and other products
• Safely move and handle heavy 30 L and 50 L kegs throughout the delivery day
• Make deliveries to liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and other customers
• Verify orders and ensure deliveries are completed accurately
• Maintain organized delivery paperwork and communicate any issues that arise on the route
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. Applicants must be comfortable with frequent heavy lifting throughout the workday.

• Able to regularly lift and carry cases of beer weighing approximately 35–50 lbs
• Able to safely move and handle full kegs weighing up to approximately 150 lbs
• Comfortable using a hand truck/dolly to move heavy loads
• Able to navigate stairs, curbs, loading docks, and other delivery environments while moving product
• Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and working on your feet for extended periods

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Sufficient driving and insurance history to meet company insurance requirements
• Comfortable driving a large commercial delivery van
• Comfortable driving throughout Calgary and surrounding areas, including occasional trips to Edmonton
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is an asset but not required

Basic PPE will be provided.

Compensation

$18–22/hour depending on experience.
