Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Intermediate Construction Surveyor in the Engineering, Construction & Infrastructure industry in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction survey activities for heavy civil projects
• Perform construction layout and field surveying using modern survey equipment
• Conduct as-built surveys and analyze survey data
• Complete quantity calculations to support project progress reporting
• Develop and maintain accurate survey records and documentation
• Create and update survey models, drawings, and drafting deliverables
• Manage and maintain survey instruments and related assets
• Uphold safety, quality, and operational standards across all project activities

Requirements

• Possess a diploma or degree in surveying, geomatics, engineering technology, or a related field
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of construction surveying experience
• Interpret and apply construction drawings and specifications
• Operate Total Stations and modern GPS survey equipment proficiently
• Utilize Civil 3D or comparable drafting and modelling software effectively
• Apply experience with drone surveying and UAV data collection
• Maintain a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
• Work independently in remote outdoor environments with minimal supervision
