Biomedical Engineering within the Schulich School of Engineering is currently seeking a Full-time Limited Term Research Coordinator for approximately 12 months.
Reporting to the Manager, Biomedical Engineering Department Operations and working closely with the Department Head, Biomedical Engineering and the Schulich School of Engineering Associate Dean, Research, the Research Coordinator will play a critical role in Biomedical Engineering Research.
The Research Coordinator will also support collaborations between researchers within the theme but also across the University of Calgary and beyond, working with a wide range of stakeholders with multiple research projects.
The incumbent will work in an environment with periods of heavy workload and competing demands. This position typically operates on a regular work schedule (Monday to Friday) with occasional variances in start and end time, is primarily on campus (minimum 4 days per week) and may be expected to attend events or provide service outside normal working hours.
It is anticipated that this position will spend time (minimum 1 day per week) in the Schulich Research Office with the rest of the time spent in Biomedical Engineering. It is anticipated that this position will require some local travel.
