Phase 2 Projects Legal Counsel Role

LNG Canada is looking for a Legal Counsel to support its Phase 2 Projects. This role centers on providing strategic legal advice for construction and procurement processes.

As a key member of the LNG Canada legal team, you will engage with various client groups to deliver practical legal solutions and ensure effective contract negotiation and management. Your role will also involve supporting senior counsel and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice for Project Contracts and claims management
• Assist in training Projects and C&P teams
• Instruct outside counsel with necessary support
• Ensure compliance with project policies
• Prioritize multiple matters effectively

Requirements

• 7-10 years experience in energy-related contracts
• Proven negotiation, drafting, and facilitation skills
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities
• Good understanding of business and legal trends
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and willingness to relocate
