QA Test Automation Co-op Student

About the role

TechInsights is seeking a QA Test Automation Co-op Student to support our platform software quality during the Fall 2026 term. This position offers an opportunity to bridge academic learning with real-world application by working directly with our software development teams in an on-site environment.

What you'll do

• Design and execute automated test scripts to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test cases.
• Investigate defects, conduct root cause analysis, and work with developers to implement corrective actions.
• Design and implement automated tools to generate reports on QA team performance, test results, and defect trends.
• Build dashboards to visualize key QA metrics and streamline data collection processes.

What you'll need

• Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year university student in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
