National Account Manager - Security System Integrator

We're looking for an Account Manager to grow a portfolio of accounts across Canada in the enterprise security systems space. You'll be the main point of contact for key stakeholders, spotting growth and upsell opportunities while building account strategies that hit sales targets. The role involves real negotiation : contracts, pricing, closing deals, plus mentoring junior team members. Hybrid, based in Ottawa.

Ideal for someone who's sold complex security solutions before and is as comfortable with relationships as with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of accounts across Canada, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior account management team members

Qualifications

• Experience designing and selling Enterprise level Security Systems
• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
• Strong analytical skills to analyze market trends and customer data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
• Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing accounts and tracking sales activities
• Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals
• Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor team members
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
