Medical Receptionist

Full-Time Receptionist – (Bilingual English/French Required)

Rockland Imaging is looking for a friendly and organized Full-Time Receptionist to join our outpatient diagnostic imaging clinic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a team environment, and provides excellent customer service in both English and French.

Job Overview

As the first point of contact for our patients, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming, professional environment. You will handle scheduling, patient inquiries, and administrative tasks to support smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner in both English and French.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using clinic software
• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and handle general inquiries in both languages.
• Register patients and maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
• Verify patient information, insurance details, and referrals as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinic staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
• Previous experience in a medical or office reception role preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical office procedures, or diagnostic imaging is considered an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, friendly, and patient-focused
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
• Comfortable using computer systems and office software

Requirements

• Available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
