In-home caregiver – private home – ShLi… family

Job title: In-home caregiver.

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is August 31, 2026.

Language requirement: English.

Salary: Wage offered is $18.23 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the region’s median wage rate for this type of work changes.

Location: ShLi… lives in Manotick, in the Ottawa region of Ontario. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood. Parks are nearby.

Duties may include

1- This job is to help with the care of two children, ages 2 and 1 year old.

2- Supervision of children when parents are not at home

3- Bathe, dress and feed children

4- Prepare food and change diapers as needed

5- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise

6- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required

7- General housework that will include doing laundry.

8- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications

1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education

2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver

3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
