Survey Party Chief

We are seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to join our team at Monument-Urso Surveying Ltd. The successful candidate will lead a field crew in performing a variety of land surveying tasks, such as boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field crew in performing a variety of land surveying tasks, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys.
• Operate survey instruments and equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of survey data and documentation.
• Interpret and analyze survey data to prepare accurate and detailed survey reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a survey party chief.

Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and procedures.

• Proficient in the use of survey instruments and equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other survey-related software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and quality.
