Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Our client is looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta. This role supports core HR administration by ensuring accurate employee lifecycle processing and efficient HR operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with Workday, and comfortable managing day-to-day HR transactions while identifying opportunities to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Process employee lifecycle transactions (hires, changes, and terminations) accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain employee records and update HR data in Workday while ensuring confidentiality.
• Support process improvements and optimize HR workflows using Workday.
• Prepare HR letters, reports, and other employee documentation.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, and special projects.
• Generate and distribute scheduled and ad hoc HR reports.
• Support team training and knowledge sharing.
• Respond to HR requests and collaborate using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Connect
• Wise.
