As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in serving a diverse client base while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the firm's continued success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare year-end financial statements and complete working paper files
• Prepare corporate income tax returns (T2)
• Participate in audit and assurance engagements, including preparation of audit working papers
• Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing professional, responsive service
• Review and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm

What You Bring

• CPA designation (required)
• Minimum 3 years of public practice accounting experience
• Strong experience preparing year-end financial statements
• Experience preparing corporate tax returns (T2)
• Audit and assurance experience with solid working paper preparation
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Accounting Standards and corporate tax compliance
• Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is considered a strong asset
