Role Description The Commission Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. In this position, the associate will identify and qualify prospective clients, conduct needs assessments, and recommend appropriate commercial and personal insurance solutions.

Daily responsibilities include preparing quotes, explaining coverage options, processing applications, and following up on leads to build and maintain a strong client portfolio. The role involves collaborating with insurance partners to secure competitive rates, managing client inquiries, and providing ongoing support to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

The associate will also use CRM tools to track sales activities, meet performance targets, and contribute to the overall growth of MyBrokers.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship-building skills, with a focus on meeting and exceeding performance targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Solid organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail when preparing quotes, policies, and documentation.
• Comfort with using EPIC, email, and other digital tools to manage client information and sales activities.
• Knowledge of commercial and personal insurance products.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Edmonton, AB.
• Relevant provincial insurance licensing LEVEL 2
• Previous experience in sales, brokerage, and customer service is an asset.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
