Leasing Specialist - Residential

We are looking for a dynamic residential leasing professional with great organizational and people skills! This position is for a new residential building in South Edmonton and requires someone with exceptional sales skills and a professional presence.

As a residential leasing agent you are outgoing, professional, organized and driven to match people with new homes! Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to inquiries via phone calls, emails and texts, qualifying prospects, answering questions and setting up viewing appointments
• Following up on all warm and hot leads
• Showing units, ensuring professional presentation and using well developed sales skills
• Ensuring suites shown are in ready condition, working with maintenance to address any deficiencies
• Performing market research and coordinating with Marketing to ensure all properties are showcased appropriately
• Weekly traffic and lead reporting
• Performing move in inspections and vacant suite inspections
• Communicating and coordinating with Property Managers and Assistants to ensure tenant application and move in processes are smooth

This is not an exhaustive list as the role involves being dynamic, responsive & able to deal with a multitude of demands.

Requirements

• MUST have at least 1 year of residential leasing or sales experience
• Energetic and dynamic personality
• Professional appearance
• Well organized with excellent computer skills. Skill in using Microsoft Office are essential and experience with Yardi would be an asset
• Additional sales or personal development training is a benefit
• The position does require regular evening and weekend hours

Compensation

• Pay includes a base + commission and bonus
