The George Spady Society is seeking compassionate Nurse Practitioners to join our Medically Supported Detox program in a casual capacity. In this role, you'll provide essential clinical care during weekend shifts and cover for physicians when they are away—offering flexibility that fits around your existing schedule while making a real difference in the lives of individuals navigating withdrawal and recovery.
Our Medically Supported Detox program serves some of the most vulnerable members of our community with dignity, respect, and evidence-based care. As a casual Nurse Practitioner, you'll work alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team to assess, monitor, and support clients through the withdrawal process in a safe and supportive environment.

The Nurse Practitioner will report to the Senior Manager of Emergency Services. Their responsibilities will include to provide advanced primary and/or specialty nursing care to patients in our facility. Duties will include but are not limited to performing physical exams, recording patient medical histories, creating patient care plans, and administering diagnostic tests.
Nurse Practitioner will also be administering treatments, as well as observing the patient response to such treatments.
The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in nursing, the requisite license, previous experience in providing primary care to patients, and proficiency with the medical instruments and equipment used in providing nursing care to patients.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
Hours of Work: Permanent 7.5 hours Day shifts on Weekends. Open to discussing hiring on a part time basis if preferred by candidate.
