Job Description & Requirements

• Valid Alberta teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain it
• Demonstrate excellent skills in planning, delivery, assessment and classroom management
• Positive team player and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents and staff members
• Willing to work in a team and provide a safe and caring environment for students to learn
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities
• Sound knowledge of Islamic faith and practice
• Comply with MAC’s ethical code of conduct, dresscode, and school’s educational vision and mission

Upon initial acceptance the following documents will be required

• Updated resume
• Valid Teaching certificate
• Copies of degree and transcripts
• Evaluation/TQS
• Reference letters
• Valid first aid certificate
• Recent criminal record check*
