HVAC Technician (A/C & Refrigeration)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician specializing in A/C and Refrigeration systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation, with additional experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine inspections to identify issues with HVAC components and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems as needed, including pipe repairs and connections.
• Utilize welding skills for system repairs or modifications when required.
• Service boiler systems and perform mechanical repairs to ensure efficient operation.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for accurate system diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform appliance repair related to HVAC or refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Assist in construction or renovation projects involving HVAC installation or upgrades.

Skills

• Proven experience with HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of A/C units and refrigeration equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Construction experience is a plus for installation projects.
• Mechanical or mechanic experience that enhances diagnostic capabilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC work environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
