Branch Manager / General Manager

An established and financially strong Western Canadian building products company is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and grow its Edmonton operation.

This is not a typical management position. We're looking for someone who thinks like an owner—someone who enjoys building teams, improving operations, growing sales, and being accountable for the overall success of a business.

You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, develop your people, strengthen customer relationships, and drive profitable growth, while being supported by the resources and stability of a successful organization.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading all aspects of the Edmonton operation
• Building and developing a high-performing team
• Driving revenue growth while maintaining profitability
• Managing branch financial performance, budgets, and KPIs
• Improving operational efficiency and customer service
• Working closely with key customers and industry partners
• Developing strategic plans to expand market share
• Ensuring a safe, positive, and accountable workplace culture

What We're Looking For

You are an experienced leader who enjoys taking ownership and delivering results.

You likely have

• 7+ years of leadership experience with full operational responsibility
• Experience managing P&L performance
• Strong business acumen and commercial decision-making skills
• A proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Experience in manufacturing, building products, distribution, construction, or a related industry is preferred
• A hands-on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement
