Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. This role is responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC issues, performing maintenance and repair on residential and commercial heating and cooling systems, and completing preventive maintenance services.

The technician will conduct inspections, test system performance, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and document all work performed. Day-to-day tasks include responding to service calls, communicating clearly with clients about findings and recommendations, promoting customer satisfaction through professional service, and coordinating with the office team to schedule and prioritize work.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance & repair and preventive maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of EPA or equivalent environmental regulations, refrigerant handling, and safe work practices.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, with professional communication and client-focused service.
• Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC or mechanical systems; apprenticeship or journeyperson status is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for travel to client sites.
• Physical ability to perform field work, including lifting, climbing, and working in varied environments.
• Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems in the Edmonton region is an advantage.
