This role is a 6 month contract and is only open to candidates currently residing in Alberta. Preference will be given to candidates based in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple large-scale IT programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Develop and implement program governance and oversight standards
• Collaborate with executive leadership to define program scope, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project goals and resolve any issues that arise
• Establish and maintain PMO structures, ensuring best practices and methodologies are followed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT program and project management
• Deep understanding of project and program management techniques and methods
• Proven track record of establishing PMO and program governance in complex organizations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• PMP certification (required)
• PgMP certification

Other Requirements

• Ability to effectively navigate organizational change and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Willingness to travel if required
