We are looking for Journeyman Electricians to join our Motor preservation team in the Edmonton area! We are looking for local candidates who are committed to safety, quality, and a shared win approach to client satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain a continual focus on safety and adhere to all company environmental, health, and safety policies, including daily safety analysis and mitigation.
• Complete visual inspections, circuits and wiring, disassembly and reassembly of motors, equipment testing and calibrations, QAQC documentation and storage.
• Work with other trades to complete tasks
• Responsible for material ordering, and QAQC documents directly associated with the project at hand.
• Maintain high standard of safety
• Operate calibrated testing equipment
• Mentor and support apprentices to ensure the highest quality of workmanship across the team.
• Assist team members with the installation, testing and replacement of equipment for other preservation equipment at the facility.

What You Need to Succeed

• Journeyman Electrician Certification
• Previous preservation or electric motor experience, QAQC documentation experience and familiarity with motor testing equipment including meters and insulation testers
• Standard First Aid and general orientations. (Can be provided)
• A respectful attitude with a strong focus on customer service and exceptional communication skills.
• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract and the ability to maintain work schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a busy environment.
